Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you ship to?
Prints are shipped worldwide directly from one of three production facilities located in New York City, London, or Dusseldorf. Our online system automatically picks the best location to get your print delivered as fast as possible.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit & debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, and Diners Club, as well as Paypal, G Pay, Apple Pay, Venmo, Shop Pay, Bancontact, and iDeal. You can choose your preffered payment method when you check out.
In the coming months we will also begin accepting Bitcoin and Ethereum.
What does Limited Edition mean?
Limited edition prints mean these images are only printed in a small batch and then never printed again. So once they are sold, they're gone forever. This increases the value of your print purchase by making it truly exclusive collectors item.
You can find the specific edition information for the print you are interested in on it's product page under the 'Limited Edition' header. It will say something along the lines of 'Edition of 5'. This means there were only 5 limited edition prints created in this size. The largest print size for all my photos is always an extremely limited edition of ONLY 1 print in existence — making these the most valuable.
What is C-Type Printing?
Remember the old days when photos were processed in dark rooms? C-type printing, also known as chromogenic printing, is the modern version of that. It's a photographic printing process that creates color prints through a chemical reaction on light-sensitive paper. Instead of using liquid chemicals and lights, C-Type uses LED's and special silver based papers to create a similar reaction.
C-type printing offers many advantages over inkjet & Giclée printing, including a wider range of colors, superior tonal reproduction, and greater durability. They are also less prone to fading and offer better scratch resistance compared to other printing methods. What size frame will I need?
The majority of our prints are sized to fit the global standard 'A size' frames (i.e. A4, A3, A2, etc) to make it easier to find premade frames. These frames are readily available online and from framing shops. Our square prints also use standard square sizes.
The frame size is noted in the name of the print size on the product page. For example, the Artist A0 size denotes a minimum frame size of A0. We say 'minimum frame size' because in the end it will depend on how you'd like your print to look in the frame and if you will be using wider matt board, etc.
Can I purchase a frame with my order?
Of course! Our standard choice is a timeless black FSC® certified wood frame with white matt board complete with high quality glass windows. If you'd like a different type of frame or matt option please contact us for available options and pricing. Our print partner ensures the perfect fit with printed border and mat options. They then fit the artwork in the frame and carefully package it. This way it is ready to be hung on your wall as soon as it arrives.
Please note that some of our largest sizes do not offer the option online to be framed as it can be difficult to safely ship delicate items of this size. We highly recommend having larger prints framed locally so that the print and/or frame is not damaged in transit.
Are these prints being made sustainably?
Anyone that knows me, knows I am an outspoken advocate for protecting our beautiful planet. So on a personal level it was very important to me to find a way to carry this ethos into my fine art prints.
I've teamed up with The Print Space gallery in London to produce these limited edition prints in a completely end-to-end carbon neutral process. Even the shipping is accounted for — meaning your purchase has a truly net zero carbon foot print. They are also packaged using recycled materials. To learn more about this please check out this article on my website.
Do you take custom orders?
Yes. Please contact us if you would like to order a limited edition fine art print of photo not shown here. As long as it hasn't been released in a previous limited edition collection we can create a custom order for you.
What is your guarantee & return policy?
We hope you're super stoked with your new print and fully guarantee that your order will arrive in perfect condition, exactly as described on our website. Any defective or damaged prints will be promptly replaced. However, we do not accept returns if you change your mind, as all artworks are created to order specifically for your request.
